WORK HISTORY Senior Operator Maintainer Oct 2012 to present JBmanagement Senior operator on the CRAM
program in Afghanistan. Maintain several networked systems from software
settings to cabling to IP addresses and physical conditions. Software updates
and IAVA patches completed after release to maintain our networks with in
compliance of government network standards. The network was comprised of
several systems from Light weight counter mortar radars (LCMR), Ku electronic
radio frequency radar (KERFS), Wireless audio visual emergency system
(WAVES), Forward allied air defense (FAAD), Sysco routing and switching, both
Windows and Red Hat operating systems and all of this was tied together with
fiber optic and a Wireless point to point radio shot network. We are
responsible for 24 hours 365 days a year operation, PMCS, troubleshooting and
helping repair systems to operational status. 2nd Shift Lead Aug 2011 to Oct 2012 AECOM GSA Letterkenny Army Depot Working Lead for building 370 Army
Missile Readiness Command. First line leader for as many as 44 people.
Involved in all areas of front line leadership from personnel issues to
interfacing with customer and working to ensure their happiness with our
personnel and productivity. All while working as an Electronics Technician 2
in the cable and harness shop. I am in charge of both paint and maintenance
personnel. Which means I must be aware of multiple sets of safety and work
area rules and regulations. As well as quality standards for many facets of
the Depot level repairs taking place. As an electronics technician 2 I
construct and repair cable harness assemblies for the bases many missile
programs to the blue prints specifications. Which includes various
multifunctional test equipment. Electronic Warfare Field Service
Representative. Sept 2007 to Mar 2011 Computer Sciences Corp. Iraq/Afghanistan Worked with all facets of
the counter improvised explosive devices (CIED). From Test plat forms and
first time installs on various vehicle mounts. As well as basic
troubleshooting and repairs. Trained over 3000 military personnel on
operation and purpose of system. Was responsible for all parts tracking and
daily reports for camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan for last 16 months of
employment. Was the point of contact for customer 24 7 repair and concerns.
Repaired over 5500 systems and installed over 800 vehicles. The job was great
and rewarding because I saved lives and would still be there if I could stay
away from family any longer. After 40 months I chose to come home. Received
both letters of appreciation and military coins from my customers due to the
effort and willingness to get the job done. Proud to serve our men and women
of service. This job gives me knowledge and experience in the build of all
current field assets. This also shows that I can work on all these platforms
safely and efficiently. These installs are electrical and mechanical aspects
involved with up armored assets.
May 1999 to 2007 United States Navy Norfolk, Va Joined the navy in May of 1999
completed basic training in July of 1999. Went to Tech core to learn basic
electronic theory, components, ac/dc circuitry and power in electronics.
Attended A school to learn principals of communication and radar theory as
well as equipment involved in communication and radar. Learned
troubleshooting to the component level on said equipment.
